“WE ONLY PLANNED TO RECORD ONE ALBUM” | BAD NERVES INTERVIEW | LEEDS FESTIVAL 2024

Dubbed by rock royalty Billie Joe Armstrong as the ‘best band in England right now’, and fresh from a sold-out UK tour supporting The Hives, Bad Nerves seem destined to become the new Punk Kings of England.

With a destinctly retro Punk sound often compared to The Ramones no less, Bad Nerves music and live show are full of fun and ferocity.

Despite only ever planning to record one album, the band’s sophomore album Still Nervous earlier this year was witten on the road, and takes the band to new heights, with a string of even more sold-out shows in their paths for the rest of 2024.

Sophie caught up with the band backstage at this year’s Leeds Festival and found out all about the new record, coping with the pressure of big shows, and their festival pet peeves.
