KYLE FALCONER’S SONGWRITING CAMP TO LAUNCH THE ‘CASA COLLECTIVE’ WITH EDINBURGH SHOWCASE

Tomorrow (Friday 7th February) the latest venture from the team at La Sierra Casa will launch the Casa Collective. Taking place at Edinburgh‘s Old Dr Bells Baths in the heart of Leith, the day will offer the unique opportunity to meet the team behind La Sierra Casa songwriting camp based in Spain, listen to exclusive Q&A sessions with PRS music, managers, agents and producers alongside a packed line up of live music throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

La Sierra Casa is the creation of Kyle Falconer (The View) alongside business partner Michael Ward, a seasoned figure in the Scottish music scene known for managing influential pubs and clubs, including the renowned Old Dr Bells Baths in Edinburgh. As lifelong friends, they share a deep passion for the music industry and aim to impart their extensive knowledge into their Alicante based songwriting camp. Featuring a cutting-edge recording studio, the camp has already hosted the likes of Carl Barat (The Libertines), John McClure (Reverend & The Makers), Callum Beattie, Blaine (Mystery Jets) as guest artists. Previous alumni include Shambolics, Ben Walker, Stagboy, Rosie Alice and many many more emerging names across the scene. 2025 is set to be even bigger with the likes of Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Laurie Vincent (Soft Play), James Allan (Glasvegas) and Danny McNamara (Embrace) joining the camp as very special guests, sharing their extensive industry knowledge and chart topping songwriting skills.

The Casa Collective opens the Casa community on another level, making it accessible and open to all. The aim is to establish a network of musicians who mutually support one another by sharing their music and performances to significantly enhance the visibility and online interaction for all community members. As the community expands, members can collaborate on tour organisation and provide support during performances, thereby empowering grassroots musicians through collective strength. Those who have already attended a La Sierra Casa Camp will automatically get a FREE membership to begin with others offered on a subscription basis.
