Two captivating new bands flying the flag high for Ireland right now, Cork’s Cliffords and Dublin’s Bold Love have this week joined collaborative forces, heading out on a much anticipated English tour. Performing at Camden’s infamous – and ironically named in this instance – Dublin Castle on Tuesday, we headed along to see what all the fuss was about.
BOLD LOVE
Formerly known as Big Love, Dublin based sextet Bold Love are invited along as the headliners special guests this week and yet arguably, could have easily taken the top bill with their impressive performance.
Recently sharing their most recent effort ‘Talking & Drifting’, we had the chance to chat with the band in a little bit more depth. Check out the full feature NOW!

CLIFFORDS
Rising from the southern County of Cork, Cliffords are setting themselves up to be ones to watch on the new music scene. Led by Scottish born Iona Lynch – from the actual Isle of Iona – Cliffords fuse the melodic, guitar-heavy aspects of shoegaze and grunge. Iona’s vocals shine in these intimate venues, punching at every level. Their latest release Bittersweet see’s the band collaborating with producer Richie Kennedy (Interpol, The Libertines, The Murder Capital) and sets the tone for much bigger things yet to come.

The short but sweet UK tour comes to an end this week, however, Cliffords are set for a massive Summer festival season. Appearing at Liverpool’s Sound City, The Great Escape, Live At Leeds and Neighbourhood Weekender next month, the band will also make appearances alongside Yungblud at the second ever Bludfest in June before taking on the ‘biggies’ such as Truck and Tramlines in July.
