If You’re Thinking of Sharing Your Story

Themes of sexual harassment/verbal abuse/mistreatment. If these themes feel heavy today please proceed with care and caution.
We want to start by saying thank you. If you’re here, reading this, it means you’re considering sharing something that may have cost you peace, safety, or dignity. That’s not a small thing. We don’t take it lightly.
This space was created to hold the stories the industry tried to bury, the ones that were laughed off, silenced, or twisted into shame. But we also know that speaking about harm, especially in a space that’s failed to protect you, can bring up a lot. Memories. Emotions. Trauma.
Please take care of yourself first.
There is no pressure to share. There is no “right” way to tell your story. If you choose to speak, do it in your own time, in your own words, and only if it feels safe for you to do so.
We are not trained counsellors or legal professionals. We cannot offer advice on criminal cases or investigations. But we can listen. We can hold your story with care. And if you need further support, we can help connect you with people who are equipped to help.
This space is dedicated to those with direct personal experience in the music industry. We are only able to accept stories from people sharing their own experiences, not those of others. If someone you know has something to share, please encourage them to speak for themselves, in their own time, and on their own terms.

It’s about refusing to stay quiet.
