RUBY ROBERTS BRINGS PERFECT SUMMER VIBES TO GLASGOW HEADLINE
Ruby Roberts (Amy Irene Marquez/Northern Exposure)
LIVE REVIEW | RUBY ROBERTS | KING TUTS WAH WAH HUT, GLASGOW | 21st May 2026 by Amy Irene Marquez
Ruby Roberts’ performance at King Tut‘s on Thursday, 21 May 2026 was pure sunshine! Roberts’ voice was like a siren’s song, but instead of leading to an impending shipwreck, it greeted listeners with a picnic of juicy, sweet strawberries, teeny-tiny bite-sized sandwiches, and fairy cakes, all laid out on a pink and white gingham picnic blanket.
Her performance was a joy to watch. She fluttered around the stage dressed like a fairy Barbie in a sparkly pink dress, white feather boa, and the sparkliest shoes! The audience was dancing and vibing to her whimsical melodic pop tunes, which felt just like a perfect summer’s day.
Accompanying her was a tight band that completely got lost in the groove of the music. The crowd themselves were cool and eclectic—a perfect mix of bows and biker boots. Very cute and wholesome, with one fan even bringing a homemade bracelet as a gift to Ruby, while another won a teddy bear named Greg!
Ruby Roberts had everyone utterly enamored, the crowd hanging off every single lyric about fairies and mermaids. Her shows are full of giggles, hope, and super cute, nostalgic vibes that fill the room with wide-eyed teenagers. But beneath the sweet themes, her songs still carry a maturity that younger ones should probably approach with a bit of parental guidance.
Keep an ear open for Ruby’s next single, “Bad Girl July” (coming soon), as it is sure to be a summer anthem for anyone who is—or knows—someone prone to crashing out!
Ruby Roberts will continue her UK tour throughout May, with remaining tickets on sale now.
