On the second stop of their 2026 EU and UK Can We Hang Out? tour, Canadian indie rock band Good Kid delivered a striking performance at Glasgow’s SWG3 Galvanizer alongside Australian band Last Dinosaurs. The tour follows the release of their debut studio album, Can We Hang Out Sometime?, an album which has quickly spawned some new favourites amongst their dedicated fanbase.

The night kicked off with upbeat indie rock band Last Dinosaurs playing to an already packed out venue. Their lively energy matched the excitement in the room and got the Glasgow crowd as ready as they could be for the return of Good Kid.

Good Kid’s stage production was phenomenal, with a multitude of props filling the stage, including television screens, a phone box, and various flowers, making the performance even more engaging and vibrant. The dedication of Good Kid’s fanbase was immediately apparent; not only did the crowd erupt into singing every word to the first song, ‘Wall’, but it was noticed that many fans came in custom made outfits inspired by the band’s new album.

Fan favourite songs such as ‘Ginger Lemonade’, ‘Osmosis’, ‘Summer’, and the finishing song ‘Mimi’s Delivery Service’, sent the entire SWG3 crowd roaring into song and singing every word. From start to finish, Good Kid kept the crowd constantly engaged, with band members being in motion at all times, jumping, dancing, running across the stage even, at any given moment. It was an incredibly chaotic and exhilarating gig, and I’m sure their fanbase will be eager to see them return to Scotland!
