86TVs | ROUGH TRADE EAST, LONDON 09/08 by Tom Jenkinson

Celebrating the release of their self titled debut album, 86TVs brought their run of intimate in-store signings and performances to an end at London’s Rough Trade East. Playing tracks from the new album such as ‘Tambourine‘, ‘Worn Out Buildings‘ and ‘Somebody Else‘ amongst others, the band also spent time chatting with and signing records for their fans.

Whilst only on their debut album, 86TVs but are no stranger to the stage. Composed of former members of The Maccabees: Felix and Hugo White, alongside their brother Will and with Jamie Morrison (formerly of Stereophonics and Noisettes). Reaching No.3 in the Official Album Sales Chart, Vinyl Sales Chart and physical album sales chart alongside No.2 in the Official Scottish Album Chart, 86TVs can proudly breath a sigh of relief.

The biggest surprise of the evening though was the welcomed appearance from Indie icon Jamie T. Joining the band on stage for the track ‘New Used Car‘, which Jamie collaborated with 86TVs on the album.
