This week pop punk rockers McFly celebrated their 21st Birthday in the most splendid style when they took to two back headline shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Playing for nearly 3 hours and showcasing their incredible 21 year timeline covering their 8 studio albums which featured some tracks first appearance in nearly a decade (‘Sorry’s Not Good Enough‘, ‘Bubblewrap‘, ‘iF U C Kate‘, ‘Memory Lane‘)and a surprise rendition of Celine Dion’s classic hit ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me Now‘.
LostAlone
McFly were preceded by opening act LostAlone who recently returned to the scene with 2022 album The Warring Twenties. Having rose in popularity in the early/mid 00’s, LostAlone fell right into McFly’s nostalgic time line.
McFly
21 years of chart topping hits deserves the ultimate celebration. On the first night at London’s O2 Arena, McFly were stage crashed by early noughties rival, Busted, to announce a massive co-headline tour which will see the bands compete head to head for the pop punk crown.
