NINA NESBITT THRILLS FANS AT GLASGOW’S OLD FRUIT MARKET

For an artist who has played shows alongside the likes of Coldplay and Stevie Nicks, written top tracks for artists across the world (IVE, The Shires, Jessie Ware, Ronan Keating, Olivia Holt), championed by Taylor Swift and even been the subject of muse for Ed Sheeran, Scottish singer song writing Nina Nesbitt has just embarked on her most personal era yet.

Releasing her latest album ‘Mountain Music‘ last month (27/09/24), Nina takes a step back from the glitz lifestyle she could be enjoying. Switching off from the pressures of modern life, Nina reconnects with her roots and pours her heart into this latest project.

Having been signed to a major label, dropped by a major label and left high and dry more times than she can count, Nina has now established her very own independent record label Apple Tree Records which ‘Mountain Music‘ was released upon.

Following a successful run of in-store appearances across the country ahead of a limited headline tour, we caught Nina Nesbitt on the final night of the tour at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket. From wooly hats to fleecy leg warmers, Nina’s ‘Mountain Chic’ dress code has been taken very seriously tonight. If fans are lucky enough then they may even walk away with a free t-shirt crediting then for their efforts. An artist who has a long term and admirable vision, Nina Nesbitt is set to thrive even higher.
