MANCHESTER’S ALEX SPENCER RETURNS FOR 2025 WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE

Following the release of his 2024 EP There’s Gotta Be More, 17 year old Alex Spencer returns with brand new single, ‘Wake Me Up’.
‘Wake Me Up’ is an upbeat yet heartfelt track of reflection. With hook driven guitar riffs complimented by Alex’s warming vocals tones, the track has an enduring endearment that you can’t help but relate to.
2024 was life changing for the Manchester teenager. The release of his sophomore EP There’s Gotta Be More was highly acclaimed with support coming from all over. From a live session with John Kennedy on Radio X, Single of the Week on more than one occasion from XS Manchester, to being named Track of Dawn on BBC Radio 6 by Chris Hawkins, Alex can now add being featured on a gaming soundtrack (EA Sports FC25) to that accolade. This young lad has come a long way since his Manchester busking days.
As well as brand new music for 2025, Alex Spencer will embark on his first UK headline this spring. Setting off on April 7th at The Louisiana in Bristol to playing Birmingham, London, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle and finishing up with a hometown headline at Manchester’s Gorilla on 25th April.
