‘MEAN GIRL’ RENEÉ RAPP COMES TO THE UK
THE ‘IT’S NOT MY FAULT’ SINGER WILL PLAY SOLD OUT SHOWS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Next week Reneé Rapp will commence the SELL OUT UK leg of her Snow Hard Feelings. Starting in Manchester O2 Apollo on 23rd February, Reneé will also play dates in Glasgow, Birmingham and two nights in London.
Reneé’s trajectory has been nothing short of phenomenal, with the MEAN GIRLS movie currently in cinemas – where Rapp reprises her debut Broadway role of Regina George – and her track with Megan Thee Stallion riding high on the charts. To date, her entire discography has amassed over 300 million streams and counting. She was noted by TIME Magazine as “a powerful vocalist with the confidence to back it up” and recently appeared on SNL (hosted by Jacob Elordi) performing tracks Not My Fault and Snow Angel.
Her entire UK run sold out immediately, and will likely be the smallest shows Reneé will be playing for a while. Missed out? You can still see Reneé when she returns to the UK for Reading & Leeds Festival in August.
SNOW ANGEL
The Snow Hard Feelings Tour follows the release of Reneé Rapp’s debut album ‘Snow Angel’ in August 2023 when she kicked off a new era of music with an evocative ballad of the same name serving as the lead single. ‘Snow Angel’ the song captures Rapp’s poignant ability to spin painful memories into songs meant to soundtrack her journey toward inner strength — the thread that holds her impressive discography together.
Produced with Alexander 23 (Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae) – who also helmed much of Rapp’s album, as the first single from the debut project, ‘Snow Angel’ showcased Rapp’s growth as a songwriter as she continues to round out her already-multidimensional artistry. Alexander 23 and Rapp first developed their undeniable rapport during their collaboration on ‘Bruises,’ a track similarly centered on the cost of putting on a brave face for everyone else’s benefit. ‘Bruises’ arrived in February 2023 on the deluxe edition of Rapp’s debut EP, Everything To Everyone — the culmination of a breakout 2022 that included selling out all of her headlining shows, netting over 200 million global streams, and earning MTV Global PUSH Artist honours. Rapp starts 2024 even stronger as she made her film-acting debut in Paramount+’s Mean Girls Musical (produced by Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels) which has become an early box office success.
