On 27 June, Irish hip hop trio Kneecap headlined Crystal Palace Park for the biggest headline show of their career to date as part of the Crystal Palace Park Series. Joined by The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers, and Madra Salach, the event brought together a line up celebrating contemporary Irish music and culture, with Festival Republic describing it as one of the largest gatherings in London’s Irish calendar this year.

The headline set included Kneecap performing fan favourites such as ‘Get Your Brits Out’, ‘Your Sniffer Dogs Are Shite’, and ‘Better Way to Live’, alongside tracks such as ‘Fenian’ and ‘Irish Goodbye’, which featured a guest appearance from Kae Tempest. Throughout the day, performances from the supporting acts and Kneecap’s politically charged set contributed to what reviewers described as a memorable and high energy celebration of Irish music at Crystal Palace Park.
