Introducing ‘Latency‘ – the second single release of the year for fresh Manchester indie band Concrete Club. Bringing in the New Year with ‘Riverswimmin‘, the successor ‘Latency‘ marks the second taster of EP 2 to come.

Having first met in University, lead singer Jonny Brewster and guitarist Kallum Delf first bonded over their mutual love for artists like David Bowie and New Order. In 2022, they joined forces with drummer Jonny McGill and additional guitarist Jamie Butterworth and just like that, Concrete Club were established. Wasting no time bringing their sound to the stage, the band have taken their music across the UK and this weekend will take on a completely SOLD OUT 33 Oldham Street in their hometown of Manchester.

Their first EP The Riot Act was unleashed in the summer of 2023 and the lads are now preparing for round 2 with EP number 2 due our later this year. The second single from said EP ‘Latency‘ explores the bands indie flavoured influences whilst remaining uniquely their own.

‘Latency’ is a burst of passion, if this song doesn’t get you moving I don’t know what will. Concrete Club have drawn inspiration from and paid homage to the likes of The Killers and REM, yet they still manage to break through with their own voice. The opening instrumental drags you in whilst the vocals that Jonny Brewster belts out convinces you to stay for the ride – a ride you don’t want to end.
