SUNSHINE AND SMILES FOR FIRST TRNSMT FESTIVAL FASHION TAKE-OVER

You don’t get many Sunny Saturday’s in Glasgow’s East End, however, June 1st was very much in the minority and for TRNSMT’s Barra’s Market take-over, there was nothing but sunshine and smiles.

Last weekend, Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT and the Barras Market joined forces for an exclusive one-off event, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on Glasgow Green this July. From live music, tasty food to shopping sustainable fashion, guests from across the city and beyond made their way to the infamous Glasgow market space to enjoy the days offerings.

Serving pre-loved fashion rails and second-hand influencer edits from the likes of pre-loved charity R:evolve, there were up-cycled festival fits for all. Some even had a go at customising their own TRNSMT inspired looks with screen printing with clothing renewal experts ACS.

But the main attraction of the day came from the TRNSMT teaser live performances from some of this years River Stage artists, Kerr Mercer, ili and Ben Walker alongside an ambient DJ set from Boogie Bar star Inez.

Rising star Ben Walker even inspired some festival ready fashion for his TRNSMT debut on Friday 12th July, with fans modelling some one of a kind denim attire in support of the young singer.

This years TRNSMT festival will return to Glasgow Green this July (12,13,14) with headline performances from Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris. With new music in abundance across four stages, TRNSMT offers the ultimate non camping festival experience, right in the heart of Glasgow’s East End.
