Rising Manc musician Alex Spencer is well on his way to become the next star of the Northern music scene. Passionate, talented and a superb head of hair, the recently turned 18 year old artist has been making waves across his home town from the tender age of 13. Busking on the streets on Manchester, the teenager rose to viral fame, gaining admirers of his work from across the country. With 2 EP’s already under his belt and another well on it’s way, Spencer can also count accolades such as performing at Manchester City’s Eithad Stadium AND a feature on the latest FIFA25 Soundtrack.

On Friday, the bar was raised once again for the rising star, who performed his biggest SOLD OUT homecoming headline at the city’s Gorilla venue. The adrenaline was higher than ever, and Alex proved once again that he’s not slowing down anytime soon. A celebration of all his successes so far, Friday’s show will be remembered as a pivotal moment for the musician, building the momentum to propel him into even bigger things to come.

It wasn’t all just about Alex though, and before his anticipated appearance, we were treated to opening sets from permanent (joy) and The Staags!
