THE LINE-UP
Appeal To Authority
Appeal to Authority are an emerging indie rock band making our mark on the thriving Glasgow music scene. With music blending the almost raw energy of indie rock with some more catchy pop elements, it’s a sound that their fanbase lavishes. In addition to original tracks, Appeal to Authority also like to perform covers; proven to always get the crowd going, they have a tradition of closing our sets with Radiohead’s ‘Creep‘.
Before the end of the year, the Glasgow band hope to release their debut EP, featuring a selection of some of their favourite originals performed so far, both with some unheard songs and some highly anticipated classics from when they first formed.
Quaint
Formed in the East End of Glasgow, Quaint are an alternative rock band who combine a range of influences including: The Stone Roses, Pink Floyd, Oasis & The Smiths. Our sound is a unique form of powerful, anthemic indie rock. A sonic soundscape that very few bands have been able to tap into.
Barranquismo
Barranquismo is a 4 piece collective composed of Nathan Campbell, Tommy Quismo, Joe Barran and Sammy T.
Each member brings their own influences to the project, from funk to classic rock, giving the band its unique groove and style.
Their band motto “Work Smoothly, Lifetime Peace” reminds us that making enjoyable music comes from letting go of control and following wherever the music takes you.
If they were to described their sound in a word? Groovy
Flair
Flair are a dynamic 5 piece band consisting of Tony (vocals), Jonny (lead guitar), Louis (rhythm guitar), Johnnie (bass) and Callum (drums). Originating from Glasgow, they have been together for 2 years now and over that time have developed an atmospheric style with a wall of sound which comes through very well during their live shows. With a new EP set to be released in September, Flair are excited for what the future holds.
Spiral Cities
Formed in 2020, Spiral Cities are 6 piece Alt Pop band based in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Each member brings a multitude of different influences, giving Spiral Cities their unique sound, Having twice headlined King Tuts in Glasgow, a spirals show is not to be missed, with songs like ‘Always‘, ‘Love of Your Life‘ and an impressive cover of Ian Van Dahls ‘Castles In The Sky‘ it’s not just a gig it’s a party!
Tracers
Tracers are an alt rock three piece band from Scotland. Having cut their teeth with some electrifying performances across Glasgow, including opening for rising band like Overpass and the Covasettes plus five sold-out headline shows at King Tuts, The Garage, Broadcast, Nice & Sleazys and Audio. The band has already established themselves as an exciting up-and-coming talent with early support from the likes of Radio X and Earmilk.
Growing up Tracers were always connected to music. With Josh’s musical dreams starting when he was just 7 after being shown ‘Hey Jude’ – starting life long obsessions. Bruce always had love for rhythm and since getting his first drum kit at 9 he never looked back. Jack, starting young too, was taught piano but fell out of love with music for this reason. His passion was then relit after his papa’s continuos nagging to play the guitar payed off soon leading to a desire to join a band. With Josh and Bruce having started the band and with Jack showing support by attending their very first gig – the stars were already aligned.
Leaving Bordeaux
Leaving Bordeaux are an alternative rock band hailing from Glasgow who embody a unique fusion of rock, funk, and pop influences. With an unwavering DIY mentality, the quartet—comprised of frontman Jamie McAulay, bassist Caleb Blackwood, drummer Louis Kane, and guitarist Darren Houston—stand out in the music scene by eschewing trends and forging their own path.
