The final day of BST Hyde Park was sunny with a cool breeze—perfect weather for a whole day of festival fun. Fans of all ages with cute fan signs and merch began queueing up from the early hours of the morning for the final headliner, Stray Kids. Everyone was giddy with excitement, and the anticipation built higher and higher as the openers of the Great Oak Stage—KIRE, NMIXX, Alec Benjamin, and Maisie Peters—took to the stage, expertly hyping up the crowd for the main event.

Stray Kids, an eight-member South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment, have rapidly risen to global fame since their debut in 2017. Known for their dynamic performances, powerful vocals, and intricate choreography, they have amassed a dedicated fanbase, often referred to as ‘STAY’.

Even before Stray Kids made their entrance, the crowd was already buzzing with excitement. Their music played over the speakers, a prelude to the thrilling performance that was about to unfold. Fans enthusiastically sang along to “MEGAVERSE”, screaming out the lyrics ‘Welcome to the Stray Kids hot megaverse’, precisely foreseeing the rest of night.

As the time approached, a massive red banner emblazoned with “Stray Kids” in bold letters was dramatically dropped to reveal the eight boys standing behind it. The crowd erupted in cheers as they kicked off the night with one of their biggest hit songs, “S-Class,” setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The leader of the group, Bang Chan, shouted with the biggest grin on his face, ‘It’s great to be back!’. Fans roared in response, waving their fan signs and merch.

The energy only escalated with each subsequent song. “TOPLINE,” “MANIAC,” and “God’s Menu,” were particular highlights. These high-energy hits had the boys bouncing from side to side of the stage. Each track was met with deafening applause and screams. Fans were singing along to every single word and some even full-on dancing. During “Victory Song,” the boys danced to the extended stage and threw water at the crowd as the song hit the chorus.

Stray Kids’ headline performance at BST Hyde Park was a testament to their growing influence and popularity. As the first-ever South Korean boy group to headline BST Hyde Park, Stray Kids took a great leap forward and reaffirmed their international presence through this stunning performance. They delivered a high-octane show that left fans exhilarated and craving more. The combination of their stellar setlist, engaging stage presence, and the overall atmosphere of the day made it a truly memorable event for all who attended. As the sun set on Hyde Park, fireworks lit up the sky, and the group finished the show with a full six-song encore including “LALALALA”, “Victory Song”, “MIROH,” a reprise of “TOPLINE,” “MEGAVERSE,” and “Haven.”
