On Friday (10/01/25), rising indie pop starlet Chloe Slater gathered alongside fans and fellow emerging artists at Manchester’s YES (basement) all with the intention of raising vital funds for Palestine and Lebanon communities.
Announcing a grand total of £1444 to her 73K followers on Instagram, Slater shared, “a huuuuge thank you to everyone who came together with us last week to raise £1444 for Palestine and Lebanon.”
Chloe was joined on the night by Cornwall bred guitar duo FLETCHR FLETCHR, but up first was the shoegazing songstress Yasmin Coe from nearby Hull.
YASMIN COE
Yasmin has been making irresistible waves across the Northern music scene lately and for very good reason. Featuring on BBC Introducing Manchester and supporting the likes of Katy J Pearson already, the young artist is one hotly tipped for big things by the NE team. Having shared her debut EP ‘The Most I Could Do’ late last year, Yasmin is already teasing new tunes which Friday’s crowd enjoyed a sneak peak of.
FLETCHR FLETCHR
Cornish duo of Rohan Fletcher and Adam Sanders were up next with their band FLETCHR FLETCHR. Last year they made their Isle of Wight debut opening the festivals River Stage ahead of acts such as Lilacs, 86TV’s and Andrew Cushin on the same day. Confessing it’s their first Manchester show yet, the pair will no doubt be welcomed back with open arms.

“this was such a special night and it warms my heart to know that we’re in a community of such wonderful people that want to help make a change” – Chloe Slater
Chloe is absolutely ‘one to watch’ in 2025. Just 21 years young, her debut EP ‘You Can’t Put A Price On Fun‘ was released in May 2024 and was followed by two sold out London headlines and appearances at Live At Leeds, The Great Escape and her native Neighborhood Festival. 2025 will launch Chloe into even bigger ventures with her first ever UK headline tour due to commence next month, kicking off in Glasgow on February 26th.
