On Monday night, beloved indie icons Doves took the stage at a sold out Nottingham Rock City, marking another highlight in their extensive UK tour. This tour supports their newly released seventh studio album, Constellations For The Lonely, which debuted impressively at No. 5 on the Official Album Charts during its launch week.
Although the absence of lead vocalist Jimi Goodwin, who opted out of the tour for health and wellbeing reasons, was felt, brothers Andy and Jez Williams delivered a stunning performance that would have made Jimi proud. Joined by their usual touring band, the experience of Constellations For The Lonely soars just as much live as it does recorded.
The tour is set to conclude on Tuesday, March 18th, at the Oxford O2 Academy, but fans can look forward to seeing them again at select festivals during the summer.
