NYC-born, LA-based musician Blondshell, New York quintet Been Stellar and Cork band Cardinals have been announced to support Fontaines D.C. at their biggest headline show to date, taking place on Saturday 5 July 2025 at Finsbury Park, London. They’ll join previously announced special guests Amyl and the Sniffers and Kneecap for the sold-out gig.

Fontaines D.C.

Blondshell is the angriest, clearest, and most vulnerable side of LA-based singer/songwriter Sabrina Teitelbaum. Growing up in the early 2000s, in a chaotic New York City household, Teitelbaum sought comfort in the music of legends like Patti Smith, Joy Division, and the Velvet Underground, before she found Imogen Heap and Elliott Smith, singing their songs at open mic nights around Manhattan. She discovered her sexuality around this time and found confidence in her queer identity while walking around the Lower East Side, listening to Tracy Chapman and Sophie B. Hawkins. She’ll be taking to the stage at Finsbury Park following the release of her latest record ‘If You Asked For A Picture’, due for release on 2 May.

NYC band Been Stellar join line-up

NYC-based five-piece Been Stellar tap into the disaffected sound and spirit of New York luminaries like Sonic Youth and Interpol, as well as the nihilistic, yearning cool of Iceage and Bends-era Radiohead, striking upon a sound that’s fearsome, buffeting and beautiful at the same time. Joining them is fellow Irish band Cardinals, whose acclaimed self-titled debut EP is an eclectic gothic amalgam of shoegaze, pop, Irish trad folk, and rock which incorporates 60s Wall of Sound and poetry-inflected punk.

From humble beginnings in Ireland, and performing their first London show at The Finsbury pub to around 30 people in 2017, to 45,000 fans around the corner in Finsbury Park this summer, Fontaines D.C. have consistently delivered raw, exciting, and captivating live shows. Since their inception, Fontaines D.C. have garnered a growing global fanbase, picking up two BRIT Awards for Best International Group, two coveted GRAMMY Award nominations and prestigious Ivor Novello and Mercury Prize nominations, as well as the NME Awards’ ‘Best Band In The World’ accolade along the way.

Fontaines D.C.’s biggest headline show to date at London’s Finsbury Park sold out rapidly as the band continue to cement themselves as one of the most in demand acts in the world right now.

Performing alongside Fontaines D.C. at Finsbury Park will be a specially curated line-up of collaborators and friends including Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers and the cultural phenomenon that is, Kneecap.
