Bastille‘s recent visit to the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham as part of their From All Sides tour was a celebratory and often deeply moving retrospective on their 15-year career. The 10 date tour has been the only chance to see the band perform this year and fans have made their way in masses to see the four piece – Dan Smith, Will Farquarson, Chris ‘Woody’ Wood and Kyle Simmons – deliver their euphoric anthems across the UK.
Highlights included ‘Doom Days’ which resonated heavily with contemporary anxieties, and the return of the fan-favourite ‘Other People’s Heartaches’ medley. The performance was lauded for its emotional depth and the band’s energetic delivery. An incredible full-circle celebration of resilience and survival for Bastille‘s devoted fanbase, the night was unforgettable for those who showed up for the party.
