Revered as one of the UK’s most beloved festival weekends, touted as a ‘miniature Glastonbury‘ (NME), Truck Festival returns in 2026 (23rd – 26th July) with an enormous wave of artists.

Announced this week, Hill Farm will welcome five headliners spanning the weekend, capturing the indie scene across different eras and moments. Gracing the main stage will be The Maccabees, Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, CMAT and The Libertines.

The Maccabees have recently reunited after an extended hiatus, and have just finished a busy festival season, which included an appearance at Glastonbury and a headline slot at London’s All Points East. The latter was a stunning way to pay homage to their legacy, and we hailed the atmosphere as one ‘many will remember fondly‘.

One of the hottest artists right now, CMAT, will be making her headline debut and bringing the ‘Very Sexy Band’ to the festival on Thursday evening. She played Truck this year, and over the course of 12 months, has become a global national treasure. She’s now rightfully where she deserves, at the top of the bill. To ensure you see her, purchase an extended ticket which includes Thursday.

Two Door Cinema Club (TDCC) and The Wombats are back on the farm after last headlining in 2023. The Irish trio will be across festival season to play their critically-acclaimed debut Tourist History in full, celebrating 15 years. The record is home to seminal indie hits What You Know, Undercover Martyn, Something Good Can Work and many more. TDCC are always guaranteed to get the party started with an infectious catalogue. Similarly, The Wombats, with their arena-sized indie hits, are bound to get the dopamine flowing. We can see it already, get the Wombat costumes ready, folks.

Closing the festival is The Libertines – pioneers and one of the UK’s most important bands of the 21st century. Their appearance promises a career-spanning setlist, with hits like Don’t Look Back Into The Sun, Can’t Stand Me Now, Run Run Run and What Became Of The Likely Lads.

Alongside the headliners, the first wave also includes:

  • The Vaccines
  • Kaiser Chiefs
  • Primal Scream
  • English Teacher
  • KEO
  • The Royston Club
  • Rizzle Kicks
  • The K’s
