INTERGALACTIC INSANITY: The Moonlandingz Return with ‘The Sign Of A Man’

Hold onto your space hats, The Moonlandingz have returned from their interplanetary vacation with a brand-new tune, “The Sign Of A Man,”. Yes, after a seven-year interstellar adventure, the intergalactic three of Adrian Flanagan, Dean Honer, and the always outlandish Lias Saoudi (also known as Johnny Rocket) have finally made their re-appearance to us mere mortals.

Remember their 2017 debut album, Interplanetary Class Classics? The one that sounded like a disco-punk spaceship crash-landing into an analog synth factory? Well, they’re back with a vengeance, and they’re not just visiting they’re colonising our earholes with their electro-squalor feast.

Their latest single, “The Sign Of A Man,” is a gloriously unhinged concoction that revels in filth, with a side order of societal scab-picking. Just when you thought it was safe to put away your tin foil hat, these guys come back to remind us why we missed them.

So, what’s the deal with this track? Johnny Rocket says it’s about, “Nature leaving man half-finished, unresolved, alienated, lost to permanent exile,” which is just fancy talk for “We’re all a bit messed up, and here’s a song about it.” Honestly, it’s like they’ve bottled up the human condition, shaken it vigorously, and sprayed it all over an electro-punk canvas. The single has an accompanying video below. But wait, there’s more! The Moonlandingz are set to drop their new album, “No Rocket Required”, later this year. And if you’re itching to see these cosmic crazies in the flesh, they’ll be touching down at London’s Lexington venue on February 21st. They’ll also play Get Together Festival in Sheffield on the 17th of May.

“The Sign Of A Man” is a welcome return for The Moonlandingz. It’s wild, it’s weird, and it’s everything we love about them. So, strap in, turn up the volume, and let’s get ready to blast off into their eccentric universe.

Welcome back, Moonlandingz, our Earthbound minds have missed your interplanetary insanity.
