KINGS OF LEON READY TO “HAVE SOME FUN” AS WORLD TOUR ARRIVES THIS WEEK

Following the release of their brand new album Can We Have Some Fun last month, Kings of Leon are set to embark on their 2024 UK tour, kicking off tomorrow night in Leeds.

The UK and Ireland tour will open in Leeds on June 20th before taking in Birmingham, Bristol, London (BST Hyde Park), Glasgow, Dublin and Nottingham before culminating in Manchester on July 10th. The run of shows will also see the multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling band play Silverstone for the British F1 Grand Prix on July 4th.

Charting second place in the Official UK Album Charts (only beaten by Taylor Swift), Kings of Leon’s 9th studio album Can We Please Have Fun was produced by Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine) and released May 10th via Polydor Records. produced. Featuring the hard-charging singles ‘Mustang‘, ‘Split Screen‘ and ‘Nothing To Do’ the album, as its title suggests is a document of one of this era’s great rock & roll bands cutting loose, trying new things, and yes, having some fun. Recorded at Dark Horse studio and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon, the album sees the band hark back to their gritty origins, while simultaneously finding new gears. It’s the sound of a band unified in vision and purpose, freed from any expectations and the album the band says they’ve always wanted to make.

You can expect to hear new and classic tracks from the Tennessee four piece as they make their long awaited return to the UK this month.
