LETLIVE BRING CLASSIC POST HARDCORE CHAOS TO GLASGOW’S GARAGE
LetLive (Olivia McCallum/Northern Exposure)
LIVE REVIEW | LetLive. w/ Twenty One Children and Last Hounds| THE GARAGE, GLASGOW | 15th June 2026 by Olivia McCallum
It was an honour to see the 2000s icons LetLive for their return to Glasgow. It was an absolutely incredible night jam packed with amazing music.
The Glasgow show had support from Twenty One Children, a punk band all the way from South Africa who brought immense energy from the first beat of the drum. The 3 piece were exactly what the crowd needed to get warmed up and ready for LetLive. So full of energy and passion I really hope to see them again next time they’re in the UK.

Next up was Last Hounds; a crossover punk band hailing from the Midlands. This band had been on my radar for years and so I was incredibly excited when they were announced to support LetLive on this tour. Their set was everything I could have hoped for and more. Their song ‘Disco’ was so packed full of energy and was most definitely a crowd favourite.

The moment we had all been waiting for finally came. LetLive took the stage and immediately took the crowd by storm. The energy they bring to the stage is unmatched and the crowd simply adores them.
As talented as the rest of the band are, it is truly lead singer Jason Aalon Butler that made the show a performance. He moves faster than light, jumping off the walls and ceiling (and I mean that quite literally). There wasn’t a single moment of stillness throughout the entirety of the set, even when delivering a heartfelt speech about family helping you through hard times. Every set is nothing short of immense.
Overall, LetLive are a must see. Their shows are a haven for anyone who loves moshing or crowd surfing and a safespace for absolutely everyone. The community that surrounds this band is so incredible to see, I am beyond excited for the next time they’re in Scotland.
