LONDON INDIE TREAT ‘SWEET UNREST’ MEET SAM SHINER | INTERVIEW

Coming together with undeniable chemistry back in 2022 are London indie risers Sweet Unrest. Declaring their music as a “celebration of that madness, that buzzing, blooming confusion”.

Frequenting the local scene, Sweet Unrest have been seen bringing their old school rock ‘n’ roll energy across the vibrant London musical landscape, showing no signs of slowing down. From coffee shops in Fulham to supporting Carl Barat at Amersham Arms and Republica at the O2 Academy, the quintet are proving to be ones to watch.

Last summer, Sweet Unrest revealed their debut self titled EP. Flirting between good old rock ‘n’ roll complimented by the energy of early nighties Grunge and Brit Pop, this London band continue to rubberneck fans wherever they go.

4/5th’s of the band caught up with Sam Shiner ahead of their next single release ‘Rob Me Blind’ which is set for release later this month, working towards it’s official a launch party event at London’s The Camden Eye on August 31st alongside Laurie Wright and Veira and The Silvers.
