Earlestown quartet THE K’S are gearing up for what should be their biggest and busiest year yet. Set to release their much anticipated debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows’ on April 5th, the band announced a run of intimate, acoustic shows and signings in March and April before they set off on an almost sold-out UK headline tour in April. The tour will include some of the biggest dates yet for The K’s such as Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse and London’s Electric Ballroom.
The K’s have also announced career defying slots across major UK festivals such as Isle of Wight Festival, Camp Bestival, Kendal Calling and a main stage line up at Reading and Leeds Festival. Not only smashing the UK festival season, The K’s have appearances across some of the largest festivals in Europe.
The band’s hugely anticipated debut album I Wonder If The World Knows has already received thousands of pre-orders and will be available on Vinyl, Cassette, CD and all digital platforms. Speaking about the upcoming release, Jamie says:
“The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally on the brink of releasing our debut album. I Wonder If The World Knows is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives throughout the ups, the downs and everything in between. We’ve put our heart and soul into making the perfect record and we can’t wait for you to hear it.”
Having recently pushed back the scheduled album release date from 22nd March to 5th April, the band have never been so busy. Guitarist, keys and songwriter for the band, Ryan Breslin chats to the champion of new indie, Sam Shiner.
