Patrick Droney’s sold-out Lafayette show was a truly magical night.

Irish singer-songwriter Ruth Anne opened the show with a stunning set which captivates the already packed-out room with her outstanding vocals and charming persona. Her set included gorgeous songs like The Vow and Love Again

Patrick’s relationship with his audience was evident throughout the night, with the room listening in with pure enchantment as he introduced different songs. The crowd were enchanting throughout the whole show – and it was so refreshing to see more people living in the moment rather than watching the full thing through their phones.

One of the most heartwarming moments from the show came as Ruth Anne returned to the stage to perform Free with Patrick. She sings backing vocals on the studio version, so it was a real treat for fans to experience this special live performance.

Other special moments from the show included performances of songs like Poems & Apologies and Caroline, from his latest album, Subtitles for Feelings. Patrick performed these songs with such emotion, and the room just seemed to be filled with so much love.

As a venue, Lafayette is a stunningly intimate setting – with a tiered standing balcony which offers perfect views wherever you’re stood. It’s hard to believe the venue opened in early 2020, given it’s become such an established venue in the heart of  London.

Overall, Patrick Droney’s Lafayette gig was a delightful show, and his performance really highlighted his talents as a musician. Watch this space to see where he ends up next!
