Hailing from Pennsylvania – across the pond – Grayscale bring their live performances to the UK for the first time. We hit up their penultimate date at Bristol’s Fleece to see them out!

Sick Joy

In support was Sick Joy – a band originally from Newcastle but now situated in Brighton – bringing the heat from the first second.

Although the band don’t particularly like the usage of ‘Pop Punk’ – instead ‘Rock with Synths’ – they very much fall into that category alongside the likes of Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, etc. Hits such as the beautiful ‘Forever Yours’ and ‘Not Afraid To Die’ kept the crowd singing, alongside playing tonnes of new material off of their newest album ‘The Hart’ – released in January of this year! Said album has also just been made into a deluxe album, too, with each song having featured artists, such as Slowly Slowly, aforementioned The Wonder Years and Wind Walkers. It’s been a long time coming for Grayscale’s debut UK tour, but now that it’s done and dusted, we’ll be sure to see them return to the UK sooner, rather than later!
