Rating: 4 out of 5.

‘Turn Around’ is the new single released by The Lottery Winners. Following the recently released tracks ‘Dirt And Gold’ with Frank Turner, ‘UFO,’ ‘Superpower,’ and ‘You Again’ starring Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, the anthemic indie-pop song is a preview for their next album ‘KOKO,’ which will be released on March 21 via Modern Sky.

A slice of summer sunshine, with any Lottery Winners track you’re guaranteed a feelgood factor that sets to run though your veins. ‘Turn Around’ is no exception. They’ve mastered the quintessential indie pop vibe with this song, making it so upbeat you’ll want to sing it down your hairbrush.

The bass lines by Kate Lloyd are what really make this song stand out; they pulse throughout and keep up with the drum beats and fast-paced synths. Thom Rylance’s vocals convey a profound emotion and passion that sets the mood for this piece. The Lottery Winners use their music to constructively transmit messages on serious matters in a light-hearted, uplifting way. The message of ‘Turn Around’ is to value the small things in life.

The Leigh band will be going on tour across the UK and Europe in celebration of the album’s release. This summer, they will be supporting Robbie Williams by performing at major locations in the UK and Europe. They also have several festival appearances on their summer agenda, including Isle of Wight Festival, Bearded Theory in Derbyshire, Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington, and Kendal Calling in Cumbria.
