Reading & Leeds have announced the acts that will be performing this year on the famed BBC Music Introducing Stage, a staple of Reading & Leeds festival since 2008. The longstanding relationship between has played a pivotal part in highlighting up-and-coming artists and in 2024 over 80% of the Reading & Leeds line up have been championed through BBC Introducing.

Joining this first slate of announced acts are the alt four-piece band South Arcade, London-based boy band Soft Launch, gen-z popstar Beren Olivia and the star of social media and Reading local Cameron Hayes.

Also announced for this year’s BBC Music Introducing stage include grime rapper from Newcastle NE-O, R&B hip-hop icon Aziya, the stylish songwriter Nina Arya and Jamaican-Irish rapper JayaHadADream. Brighton-born R&B soul songwriter Lyamah and dnb hybrid trio NOISY. Also joining them is Welsh grime producer Douvelle19, whilst electrifying Glasgow-based band and winners of BBC Scotland Introducing Act of the Year winners Bottle Rockets will make their first live appearance outside of Scotland at the festival.

Other artists announced include pop singer and producer Michael Aldag, goth grunge Leeds locals Venus Grrrls, hip-hop and grime star Prido, soon to be pop icon Alessi Rose, Bengali-British rapper Surya Sen, pop-punk sister dup Baby Said and indie-pop band daydreamers.

Previously announced are Halifax’s songstress Ellur, York based indie-rock band Sun King, Hull’s electro-punk Jodie Langford and Barnsley’s genre-defining Delilah Bon, all of which just a tease for what is to come from some of the UK’s best up and coming talents.
