Set to release their debut album on May 3rd are Stoke-On-Trent’s rapidly rising indie outfit, Camens.

WORK/LIFE/BALANCE will be the bands first physical release, forgoing the usual EP then album blueprint by skipping straight to the full length album.

Latest single release ‘Confetti & Kalashnikovs’, is the second instalment from said forthcoming  album and is described as ‘powerful, punchy, and packed with playful  indie-pop‘. An anthemic guitar driven track which showcases Camens slick distinct signature sound.

The single follows on from January’s ear worming ‘Cynical‘. Like it’s successor, the track is characterised by it’s big guitar riffs, melodic charm and Scotts unique vocals tones that the band are well known to deliver.

Enjoying support slots alongside the likes of The Snuts and a sell out run with Scouting For Girls, it’s time for Camens to shine. Their own headline tour will kick off on album release day (May 3rd) in a hometown appearance at Stoke-On-Trent’s Sugarmill before making their travels across England, ending in Liverpool on April 9th. You can pick up tickets HERE.

The band made their major festival debut at last year’s YNOT festival and this year they have so far secured and announced appearances a Jurassic Fields, Deva Fest, Weyfest and The Weekend Festival. And the gig news doesn’t end there. In April, Camens will join The K’s – who also release their debut album this year – on selected dates including their only scheduled date north of the border at Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele.
