ROBIN ASHCROFT RELEASES COUNTRY POP ANTHEM “SOS”

“S.O.S.,” co-written with Johnny Madden, was recorded and produced at Castle of Doom Studios in Glasgow by Madden and Jamie Holmes. Established in 2005 by Scottish artist Mogwai and record producer Tony Doogan, Castle of Doom has evolved from a private studio into a renowned recording space, hosting a diverse array of artists from Scotland and around the world.
You may remember earlier this year myself – Hope Simmers – was invited to work with Robin on her music video for her single ‘STAY’. Well, buckle up because we have been working hard on another music video, OUT NOW! We are so proud of this video and had lots of fun creating it.
We would like to give a special thanks to James Evan’s at Cafe Jaconelli’s in Glasgow for kindly allowing us to use the space for filming. Jaconelli’s is an iconic cafe known to Glasgow for their ice cream, some would go as far as saying it’s the “best ice cream in the world”. The cafe celebrated their 100th year of business earlier this year and have attracted many people over the years including Danny Boyle and Ewan McGregor, that’s right you will recognise the cafe in the iconic Train Spotting movie. Be sure to add it to your visit list when next in Glasgow.
