‘SOAP’ SET TO RIDE STRAIGHT INTO HEADLINE TOUR AFTER THE VAMPS OPENER GIGS

SOAP are one of the UK’s most exciting grassroots bands. Originally named The Tyne, they have proven to be prolific songwriters since they came together in 2019 and one of the most exciting new live bands in the UK.

Having already been tour support for NOAHFINNCE and BUSTED on their blockbuster sell out Arena tour in 2023/24, they are currently on tour with The Vamps for their ‘Meet The Vamps Anniversary Tour’. Last week, SOAP release their latest single ‘Funeral’ . A high energy angular pop-punk track which has already proven to be a live favourite – LISTEN HERE

Previously they have released two EP’s via the iconic alt label Slam Dunk Records ‘BORN ON THE INTERNET’ in 2022, followed by “COMPLAINING (BUT THERE IS MUSIC)’ in 2023, the latter of which included the track ‘(NOT A) LOVE SONG’, featuring NOAHFINNCE. For the next chapter of the bands story, they have partnered with Sound On, TikTok’s own record label.

With an already surging fanbase, in 2024 they decided to write, record, produce and self-release as many songs as they could. Within this unstoppable creative streak, their cover of Abba’s ‘SOS’ hit accord. Having restructured the song and giving it the unmistakable SOAP energy, it blew up online, ripping through TikTok and grabbing the attention of the Grammy’s and beyond.

Currently they have a rapidly growing 457k Tiktok followers/10.3m likes, 13k subs/650k views/5 million streams on YouTube and 38k on instagram. Previous singles have found strong support from BBC Radio 1 Future Alternative Show, BBC Introducing and playlists like Fresh Finds Rocks

They have just announced their own UK headline tour in October 2024. Tickets are available from here.
