Dreuw is an alt-folk, indie artist with a mesmerising voice. If you’re a fan of Tom Odell or Kodaline then Dreuw’s music is for you. While talking about his music, Dreuw said, “I hope it resides in a way that’s honest and soothing and gives off this energy of coming back into yourself.”
He uses his music to emotionally process the personal challenges he goes through, he believes that you can see the beauty in pain while healing and dealing with it.
“If I’m moving through something like relationships ending or people passing away, conflict or every day things we go through, your feelings are heightened in the moment and I like to sit with it for a bit because there’s something to learn and then, organically, I start writing songs about it. It helps me learn more about myself and my deeper thoughts that might be hidden away but will come out in the writing process.”

Tapes for Diane are a duo from Brighton consisting of Hayleigh and Bo. Their music style is dreamy, cinematic, retro and low-fi. Their music is very moving and they say
“(we) haven’t really written many love songs, our music is more about relationships with yourself. It just depends on what things are going on through my head at the time. Most of the songs are my internal monologue.”

BRIGHT TOWN

Bright Town are a 5 piece band from Liverpool. They emphasise on vocal harmonies, melody, lyrics and guitar interplay. They’ve just finished recording a new batch of songs which will be released later on in the year. They told us,
When we started out, we were writing songs about the typical thing of ex-girlfriends but now we’ve done them, we’re trying to find new and different things to write about. Matt has been writing songs about anything and everything at the moment. We have a new song about how the Beach Boys couldn’t surf which I think, as far as topics for songs go, I like that one. That song is newer than new so it won’t be out for a while.”
