SOFAR SOUNDS MOST RECENT LIVERPOOL LINE UP REVEALED

Sofar Sounds Liverpool hold a secret gig in the city every month. Keeping the grassroots venue is kept secret until 24 hours before the show and the artists are only announced when you arrive. Tickets are £10 each and over the years they’ve hosted some now big name acts including Red Rum Club and Clean Cut Kid.

The show yesterday was held at photo studio and popular wedding venue, Scale. A stunning space which matched the laid back acoustic gig ambience very well. This evening acts were soon revealed to be Lilla Shy, Alex Windrow and The Mighty George Farmer.

LILLA SHY

The first act of the night was Lilla Shy who moved to London from Rome to pursue her music career. She performed alongside Tom Bright. Her stunning voice stole the show.

ALEX WINDROW

The second act was Liverpudlian Alex Windrow. The multi-talented musician played one song on the keyboard and the rest with his guitar and box drum. A promising young talent and excellent songwriter. 

THE MIGHTY GEORGE FARMER

The last act of the night was Lancashire band The Mighty George Farmer. Catchy, upbeat songs that make you want to dance. The added congos for this set worked well with the bands music. Definitely ones to watch.
