For a 2025 edition, Sound City will once again serve as the hub for discovering new music and the beating heart of music lovers’ favourite up-and-coming performers across Liverpool City Centre, shedding a light on the sound of both today and tomorrow.

Dylan John Thomas and STONE are among the second wave of musicians announced by Sound City for their 2025 festival. The new music discovery festival, will feature Dylan John Thomas as the main act on Sunday night, followed by Merseyside locals STONE in the afternoon.

The Royston Club, the event’s previously confirmed headliners, will be the main attraction on Saturday night. KEO, Imogen and the Knife, The Guest List, Ist Ist, Disgusting Sisters, Brogeal, Keyside, Charlie Pittman, Allie Sherlock, Precious Pepala, and Permanent (Joy) are also featured in the most recent announcement.

These newcomers join an already-announced lineup that is jam-packed with major names that are currently defining new music scene. With acts like Nieve Ella, Rianne Downey, Overpass, Panic Shack, Siobhan Winifred, The Cheap Thrills, The Clause, Maya Delilah, TTSSFU, Better Joy, The Stingrays, Delights, Alex Spencer, Basht, Mitch Saunders, and Mandrake Handshake all waiting for their moment throughout Liverpool City Centre, Sound City is the ticket to two days of amazing live music, discovering your new favourite artists and making lasting memories —all for just one expense.
