SPENCER ELMER NEW SINGLE INDEPENDENT QUEEN IS A WINNER

23-year old Spencer Elmer released his latest track, Independent Queen last week.

It’s no secret that the U.K. rap scene is seeing more and more upcoming artists emerge, and it’s great to see artists like Spencer Elmer dropping banger after banger.

Independent Queen has a slick, modern beat, with honest and personal lyrics like “late nights I can be your person” and “life’s a game like GTA when it keeps improving”. It stands out from a lot of other rap tracks in the sense that the lyrics seem genuine and sincere – which I imagine is a huge draw for his fanbase.

Whilst his earlier tracks still include some pretty thoughtful lyrics, Elmer’s growth as an artist is evident throughout tracks released this year. Spencer may still be in the early stages of his career, but he’s already amassed nearly 650000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He’s got a strong TikTok audience too, with the likes of Hailey Bieber using his sounds.

Spencer Elmer is certainly one to watch over the next year and beyond, and I’m excited to see what he’ll bring out next.
