THE LIBERTINES TODAY RELEASE BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘OH S**T’
NEW ALBUM OUT APRIL 5TH
The Libertines have released their brilliant new single ‘Oh Shit‘ on Wednesday 6th March.
An ear-worming anthem of a track which is through and through what The Libertines do best. Reminiscent of the bands which moulded the band as they are today, there’s nostalgic hooks of The Clash, The Jam and The Sex Pistols all creeping in here. Frustrating the timeless challenge of just trying to get by with “Oh shit ,oh shit, Lets make some money, Just enough to get us by“; The Libertines continue to be just as relevant today as they ever were.
Written by Carl Barat and Peter Doherty, ‘Oh Shit‘ marks the fourth single release from All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade (out April 5th), following the success of ‘Run, Run, Run‘, ‘Night Of The Hunter‘ and ‘Shiver‘.

The Libertines’ UK/IRELAND tour all but sold out within hours of being announced – faster than any previous tours in their history – which nails the lie that no-one wants to see bands live anymore. To cater for the unprecedented demand, a third and final night has been added at Manchester’s Albert Hall on Saturday 9th November.
