Forming The Shed Project back in 2018 with his Bolton mates, front man Roy Fletcher has become a bit of legend amongst the X/Twitter new music community after they gained heavy traction on the platform through the scene; particularly during the lockdown period of ’20/21. They went on to release two studio albums (The Curious Mind Of A Common Man [2022], Our Fear Is Their Power [2023]) and sell out many headline shows, however, earlier this year, The Shed Project announced they were heading their separate ways to peruse other creative ventures.
In September, Roy launched is latest solo endeavor with Yon Mon and shared his debut single ‘Shine On‘ to positive reception. With much more in the pipeline, Roy chats with new music champion Sam Shiner. Speaking out about the disbandment of The Shed Project, Yon Mon and the ever challenging landscape of the new music grassroots scene.
