The tour made its debut at the weekend with sell out shows in York and Newcastle and will next move further north for the bands only Scottish dates: 2 nights at Glasgow O2 Academy. Stopping off in Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, London and Manchester, tickets are already sold out but eager fans should still keep an eye on Ticketmaster for any last minute resale tickets.

The Vamps are celebrating 10 years of their debut album ‘Meet The Vamps’

On the anniversary announcement, The Vamps shared;

“A crazy thought that we released Meet The Vamps 10 years ago, we can’t tell you how much that album means to us, and we love that it means a lot to others as well. It represents friendship, love, heartbreak, ups/downs, and everything that comes with growing up. We were so young and didn’t really know what we were doing, making this album is some of the best days of our lives.

“We had to do something special for the anniversary, and we thought a tour to celebrate this milestone is the perfect way to do this. Over the past few years it’s been amazing being able to reflect on our time as a band and the journey we have been on. Now, going right back to where it all began – ‘Meet The Vamps’ – we owe alot to that album! You [the fans] just got it and got us, and since then it’s been a dream ride! We can’t thank you enough, see you on tour!”

If you were lucky enough to grab a ticket to this limited run of live shows, then The Vamps promise to deliver a night to remember. Based on the setlist from the first shows, we can expect the 2014 album to be played in full; including a surprise bonus track from the iTunes store deluxe version. Other favourites such as ‘All Night‘, ‘Chemicals‘, ‘Wake Up‘ have already made an appearance on the set list, but we are sure that The Vamps will continue to pull some surprises as the tour progresses!
