THIS FEELING BY THE SEA 2026: INDIE ROCK’S SPRING AWAKENING

MAIN PRESS PICTURE

Bridlington Spa is about to shake again. This Feeling By The Sea, the grassroots weekender that’s quietly become an institution, returns April 17th–18th, 2026, with a line-up that proves the underground is not just alive, it’s thriving.

Headliners: The Lilacs & The Clause

The Lilacs, Wigan’s finest, a band who’ve fought their way through the noise with nostalgia-soaked anthems and a live energy that leaves tents overflowing. From sing-alongs at the Isle of Wight to supporting Sting, their rise feels unstoppable. Headlining Friday night is not just a booking, it’s a coronation.

The Clause: Birmingham’s groove-driven powerhouse. Their debut album Victim of a Casual Thing didn’t just chart it roared to #1 on the Independent Albums Chart and cracked the UK Top 20. Saturday night belongs to them, and they’re bringing Foals-level swagger with Bloc Party bite.

Friday Highlights

The Rosadocs: Sheffield’s indie torchbearers, riding the wave of their EP The City’s No Good For Reflection.

GIRLBAND!: Punk intensity, feminist fire, tracks like 21st Century Suffragette demand attention.

Plus Cruz, The Cavs, The Cases, Hannah Robinson, all killer, no filler.

Saturday Highlights

The Bracknall: Fresh off a #3 charting album, they’re set to own the stage.

Crystal Tides: High-octane indie with hooks sharp enough to cut glass.

The Slates, The Velvet Hands, Montello, Long Island — a line-up that swaggers from start to finish.

New for 2026: The Sessions Stage

Dirty Blonde and Fitzroy Holt on Friday.

A stripped-back, intimate space spotlighting the next wave:

Breeze and Alright on Saturday, bringing bluesy reflection and Blackpool bravado.

Compere: Fenners (Soccer AM, LIFEJACKET podcast).
