Playing the second show of their rescheduled UK tour in a packed out Oslo Hackney were Charming Liars. The show which was initially was scheduled for October 2023, meant fans had to wait for the highly anticipated return to the UK.

It was a special show for guitarist Karnig Manoukian and bassist Mike Kruger as they grew up in the west end of London, and their return didn’t disappoint, the atmosphere was electric as they delivered a performance that reflected years of dedication and passion for their craft. Each song showcased their raw talent and left an indelible mark on the crowd, affirming Charming Liars’ place in London’s music scene.

After releasing their third studio album last September titled ‘Fatalism’, Polaris embarked on a UK and EU tour, ending the Australian metalcore band’s string of sold out UK shows at Bristol’s SWX with a 15 song setlist, of songs old and new. SWX’s crowd didn’t stop bouncing, moshing and crowd surfing throughout the entirety of their set, showing how intense the gig was.

BBC 6 Music brought their 10th annual music festival to Manchester this month which saw live music events and celebrations across the musical metropolis. We spent the long weekend pitched at the Victoria Warehouse where the main showcase took place. Featuring exclusive performances from Young Father, Hak Baker, CMAT, Gossip, Jordan Rakei and The Smile, attendees were also kept going throughout the weekend with DJ sets from BB6 Music presenters. Wrapping up his ‘Are We There Yet’ UK tour last week was legendary pop-star Rick Astley. Supported by Scouting For Girls and The Lottery Winners, these past few weeks have allowed the latter play some of their biggest crowds to date.
