Saturday night saw another incredible end of tour headline, this time in Liverpool with The Lilacs.
The Wigan four piece played the final night of their recent UK tour with a (very close to) hometown show with special guests Dirty Blonde and Toy Car.

A spectacular night flowing with pure euphoria from start to finish, The Lilacs blew the roof off the sold out Arts Club.

Kicking off the UK leg of their ‘Easy On The Eyes’ tour this month was Ireland’s The Academic. Support on the tour comes from Dorset singer Siobhàn Winifred who is rapidly growing amongst the alt-pop scene.

With a SELL OUT tour on the horizon, fans can still pick up tickets to catch the indie quartet at this years Live at Leeds Festival in May and Y NOT in August.

Following the release of their second LP ‘The Tallest Room‘ last month, Leeds based Van Houten are currently touring that album across the UK.


Earlier this month it was Glasgow’s turn for the celebrations and we were there to capture the mood. The show marked the end of the current leg of the tour, but Van Houten promises to be back soon enough.

This month ‘singer/songwriter, busker and new age travellerCam Cole brought his Blues infused rock ‘n’ roll to Manchester’s Academy 3.


The ‘one-man band’ released his third full album ‘Unleash‘ last year and has been travelling across the country and beyond bringing his ravishing live set to fans.

The penultimate night night of one of the most anticipated tours of the year so far!

Happy Mondays returned to our stages this spring alongside Stereo MC and Inspiral Carpets for a practically sold out run across the UK. Starting off with the first of three sell out’s at Glasgow’s infamous Barrowland Ballroom and finishing up in Brighton, we managed to catch the legendary band in Liverpool and Manchester.

Up there with one of the best shows we’ve covered this year was the incredibly talented and iconic Underworld.

Performing two sell out consecutive nights at Manchester’s Aviva Studios, Underworld brought their UK run of shows to an epic close with bouncing acid-house classics. Bringing energy like no other across not one, but two incredible sets, Underworld are not ones to miss.

15 years after the release of her groundbreaking debut album ‘Do You Want The Truth or Something Beautiful‘ the incredible national icon which is Paloma Faith has recently released her 6th studio album. ‘The Glorification of Sadness‘ went straight to No.2 in the UK album charts in February and now Paloma is taking that album on tour across the UK.

Hot Wax had the room dripping with sweat when they played Manchester’s Deaf Institute this month. Warmed up by special guests Aziya and Duvet, the mood in the room was incredible. For anybody who loves a proper punk show, this line up just deliver.

Recently wrapping up their UK headline tour, you’ll find it hard to miss Hot Wax this year. Next to be seen out supporting LA rock duo Deep Valley on their upcoming ‘Farewell Tour’, they pair will start their support slot in Europe before coming back UK side in June. The band are also set for a packed festival season with appearances at Bearded Theory, Live at Leeds, Download, Y Not and Kendall Calling amongst others this summer.

Huge Congrats to The K’s who have only gone and secured a TOP 3 Album with their debut ‘I Wonder If The World Knows’.

The band have been out on their official UK tour this month but before they hit the road, they were busy promoting the album release in every way they could including in-store and out-stores appearances which including this one at Warrington Parr Hall. Despite battling illness, the band have been striving to keep giving the fans whatever they can. With their biggest headline to date taking place in Manchester on April 26th, fans watch on hopeful the band will be back to their full potential

The London based club night has been showcasing the very best emerging talent from the rising R&B soundscape for the past 12 months and is now – for the first time ever – taken that showcase on the road.

Taking the stage at Manchester’s Deaf Institute, the incredible line up included Akemi Foxx, James Vickery, Jasmine Rowland, Victoria Jane and of course, Mahalia.
