West Lothian band The Azurescens have released their latest single ‘Molly‘. Known for their eclectic soundscapes and vibrant performances, this track is a shift again in the band’s sound and highlights the variety of influences in their catalogue. Across their previous releases, you can hear influences of Ocean Colour Scene, The Stone Roses, Punk Floyd and Jimi Hendrix, however this new single is a throwback to the golden early punk era.

LISTEN TO MOLLY NOW

Molly‘ tells the story of a young girl who has big city dreams but soon realises that the bright lights aren’t all they seem. This new single has a real drive and energy from start to finish, hooking listeners on it’s first play. Hopefully we’ll see more of this side of The Azurescens (pronounced Ahh-zoo-ray-sins) in releases to come!

The Azurescens will play their biggest show to date this month (30th November) at Edinburgh’s Liquid Rooms as special guests to highly acclaimed Oasis Tribute band, Definitely Oasis. Tickets for the show are sold out but join the waiting HERE. Before that, the band will be making their Fife debut at Coady’s Bar, Dunfermline on Saturday 16th November – tickets available on the door.
