LIVE REVIEW | PALE WAVES | GLASGOW SWG3 13/10/24

On Sunday 13th October, Pale Waves made their return to Glasgow with a stunning sold out performance at SWG3. As one of the later dates on the tour, the band seemed suitably warmed up and the crowd was bursting with anticipation.

The set was an unexpected trip down memory Lane with a set full of surprises. Pale Waves most adored tracks such as There’s A Honey and Television Romance from their seminal debut album My Mind Makes Noise went down the best with the crowd, yet songs from their latest album Smitten were received just as enthusiastically.

There was so much love from both sides of the barrier that carried across the room all night. It felt more like a party with old friends than a show which is a testament to the power of Pale Waves music. Frontwoman Heather, is evidently in her element tonight and really embraces her love for her Scottish fans, even appearing later in a Scotland football shirt which suited her too well.

From start to finish it was a show full of bangers with the highlights of the night hearing the new album tracks live, especially ‘Glasgow‘ for obvious reasons. A night to remember for all the right reasons.
