GET SET TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF PUNK WITH THE SEX PISTOLS & COMPANY
LIVE PREVIEW | Sex Pistols: Anarchy In The UK, Castlefield Bowl, Manchester, 12th July 2026
Get ready! In two months, UK punk stalwarts the Sex Pistols are set to continue their ‘Anarchy In The UK’ tour, hitting Manchester’s historic Castlefield Bowl to celebrate half a decade of punk alongside an epic line up of their punk rock peers!
Since re-forming in 2024, the Sex Pistols original members – Paul Cook (drums), Steve Jones (guitar) and Glenn Matlock (bass) – have successfully bridged the past and the present with the inclusion of Gallows front man Frank Carter on vocals, subsequently delivering a series of blistering live shows, including a trio of sold out shows at London’s Bush Hall and a slot at last year’s Download Festival!

Sure to be playing plenty of choice cuts from their one and only studio album, 1977’s seminal ‘Never Mind The B*llocks’, the anticipation is high at the thought of grabbing a beer and singing along to the likes of ‘Anarchy In The UK’, ‘Bodies’, God Save The Queen’, Pretty Vacant’ and ‘Holidays In The Sun’ in the summer sunshine!
Joining the Sex Pistols will be a brace of UK punk bands. Belfast punk icons Stiff Little Fingers, fresh off their own UK tour earlier this year, will be revelling in the fun with their batch of rebellious punk rock songs, from ‘Tin Soldiers‘ to ‘Alternative Ulster’, ‘Raise Your Heart’ to ‘Gotta Gettaway’, ‘Silver Lining’ to ‘Suspect Device’. Given how great Stiff Little Fingers continue to be in a live setting so deep in to their career, they’re certainly not one to miss. Adding a nice change of pace will be Northern Irelands The Undertones, with their slightly poppier take on the genre, likely delivering the likes of ‘Jimmy, Jimmy’, ‘Here Comes The Summer’, ‘Girls That Don’t Talk’, ‘Johnny C’Mon’ and, of course, ‘Teenage Kicks’. Rounding out the line up is Manchester legend Dr. John Cooper Clarke and his punk rock poetry, kicking off the evening with a bang!
With the Sex Pistols and punk as a whole celebrating it’s ‘golden jubilee’ this year, it’s guaranteed to be a chaotic evening of punk, beer, sunshine, fists-in-the-air anthems, unity and razor sharp social commentary.
The most unmissable punk show of the year is nigh! We mean it, man!
