WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT SZIGET 2026 BESIDES MUSIC?
Most music festivals stick to what they do best- music; at Sziget, there is so much more. Not only is the line-up packed with amazing artists, but if you look closely there are over 60 show-casings of performing arts, dance, theatre and circus acts. Here are some of the acts that will be on and a little more information about what there is to do at the festival.
Starting off with some musical acts, the ‘Bolt Night Stage‘ hosts a variety of artists throughout the night for all you electronic music fans. This stage can be found in the ‘Delta District‘ and is a rave of sorts for party fans, or those who simply don’t fancy heading off to sleep quite yet and want to hear something different. This year, the stage will hosts acts such as: Anfisa Letyago, Argy, Indira Paganotto, Dom Dolla, Zomboy and many more!
Very similarly, the ‘Delta District‘ also has a place called ‘Der Klub‘, which as you guessed- is a club! A massive party space is open to all, bringing good vibes only and brings a fresh underground club scene to the festival which you don’t see in many other festivals.

For over 2 decades, Sziget Festival have hosted the ‘Magic Mirror‘, a safe space for all LGBTQ+ people and allies! This is very much a space to celebrate diversity, embrace self-expression and connect with other like-minded people at the festival. This stage has drag shows, performances and artists showcases every day of the festival, with a daily conversation named ‘Mirror Talks‘, where there are talks on queer identity, activism and culture by inspiring voices from all over the world.
If you’re looking for hip-hop, Sziget is the right place for you too! ‘The Cyper‘ is a venue that over the years has grown bigger and bigger, drawing more people in from all over the world to celebrate the world of dance, street energy and hip-hop. Each day, you can catch breakdance battles, freestyle performances, dancers, BMX riders and skaters. If you are into any of these, I would highly recommend checking this stage out to see something new in your day.
If you feel like thinking a bit harder, check out ‘The Joker‘, a place for fun where you can play board games, watch magic shows and listen to a live comedy show all at once! Alternatively, if you’re feeling more hands-on creative, check out ‘XS Land‘, where accessibility, creativity and connection can come together through interactive stations. This area is lead by people with disabilities and is full of games that spread awareness and inclusion, while learning about empathy and shared experiences.

Very close to each other are 2 immense experiences: ‘Cirque De Sziget‘ and ‘Le Grand Theatre‘. At the circus, there are daily performances by international acts, pushing to be as over the top and entertaining as they can be! Experience acrobatics and aerial acts, making you stand in awe and worry (only slightly) about how they will be able to pull it all off safely. At the theatre you are able to experience very similar performances in terms of art, contemporary and high energy performances, new-circus and physical theatre where you can see stories being told through only movement. If you fancy getting involved, the theatre also hosts workshops and participatory experiments, where you too are able to try it all out and express yourself creatively. To add on- a ‘Travelling Funfair‘ can also be spotted on festival grounds, full of classic carnival games, fortune tellers, puppeteers and full of charm where you can connect with other people, away from the chaos.
Fancy being even more active? Sziget has got you covered with ‘Sziget Sport‘. Play games of basketball, try out some early morning yoga, learn some tai chi, take skateboarding lessons or do anything sporty with friends and strangers alike.
While walking around the festival site, you might spot the ‘Walkabouts‘, similar to the ‘Dragon dance’ that is usually done during Chinese New Year, you will be able to spot giant creatures, magical puppets and incredible acrobats that you will not be able to look away from. Sziget claim you will ‘see things you’ve never seen before’ so get ready!
