ARCTIC MONKEYS, OLIVIA RODRIGO, FONTAINES D.C. AND MANY MORE UNITE WAR CHILD ‘HELP (2)’
After a week of cryptic teases, War Child have announced their highly anticipated 2026 charity album ‘Help (2)’. 21 years on from the first ‘Help’ album, War Child have collated the latest and greatest artists from around the globe for a groundbreaking charity album. With features from Arctic Monkeys to Olivia Rodrigo, HELP (2) has fan bases across genres uniting to support a fantastic cause.
HELP (2) is inspired by the 1995 War Child Help album which featured, Oasis, Blur and Radiohead – to name a few. Blur’s Damon Albarn has collaborated with Grian Chatten and Kae Tempest on an original song titled ‘Flags’ for the 2026 re-imagination of the album. Chatten even appears twice on the record alongside his Fontaines D.C band members with their cover of Sinead O’Connor’s ‘Black Boys On Mopeds’.
War Child have previously worked with lead single contributors Arctic Monkeys on their 2020 live album ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall’. As veterans of War Child support their latest track ‘Opening Night’ is the Sheffield bands’ first release in four years and rumoured to be a marker of an upcoming indefinite hiatus of the band.
