Scottish rock icons Biffy Clyro will return this summer to headline a huge outdoor show at Edinburgh Summer Sessions on Friday 21st August 2026 at the Royal Highland Showgrounds.
 
Fans signed up to the Summer Sessions database will have access to a presale from 10am on Thursday 29th January before tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday 30th January via http://www.smmrsessions.com/locations/edinburgh.


 
The band are currently on their The Futique Tour and have just played two sold out shows in Aberdeen and Glasgow this week to five star reviews. The tour sees them play huge shows across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, highlighting why they are one of the UK’s most celebrated live acts. 

Biffy Clyro’s career has been defined by explosive performances, multiple number one albums and a fiercely loyal global fanbase. From their early beginnings to headlining the world’s biggest festivals, the trio have cemented their status as one of Scotland’s most influential modern bands.

Biffy Clyro promise a powerful set packed with era-defining anthems alongside material from across their acclaimed catalogue. Fans can expect a high-energy, emotionally charged performance befitting one of the standout dates of next summer’s live music calendar.

Biffy Clyro will be joined by Nothing But Thieves and Swim School. Now a decade into their career, Nothing But Thieves have never sounded as inspired and adventurous as they do right now and will mark two years since their last performance in Scotland on Friday 21st August.

Formed in Edinburgh in 2018, Swim School join the bill at Edinburgh Summer Sessions – their biggest hometown show to date.

Edinburgh Summer Sessions has become one of Scotland’s most anticipated live music series, bringing world-class artists to the capital for unforgettable outdoor shows. Biffy Clyro’s appearance on the 2026 bill continues that, with demand expected to be exceptionally high.
